BEINN EACH (STRATHYRE) 29 MARCH 2009
This was to have been an outing to Aonach Mor, but recent changes in weather (thaw, then more snow), and a poor forecast for that area, discouraged many. Allan Carr, Fraser, Laurence, and Kevin set off later than the stated start time for a day further east and south, with the prospect of better conditions, and an opportunity to scan the path where Allan had lost his car keys in snow on an earlier occasion. It also provided a very accessible Corbett for our delight, in dry conditions with excellent visibility. I had climbed this hill on previous occasions in very poor visibility, and had not appreciated what a fine viewpoint it was, and an interesting hill in its own right, so it was very worthwhile taking in again. We didn't find the car key, but drowned our sorrows at the Lade Inn. Time taken on the hill was about 3 and a half to 4 hours.
