NORTH GLEN SHIEL SATURDAY 22 AUGUST 2009

This walk was programmed as North Glen Shiel ridge, which could involve various combinations of hills.   Those present were all happy with the round selected.

Jim, Shirley, Ian G, Fraser and Kevin at car park for 06.30.

Departed Lundie on Loch Clunie at 10am to traverse the ridge between CARN GHLUASAID, SGURR NAN CONBHAIREAN to SAIL CHAORAINN.  
A detour west to a gentle ridge looking down into a fine corrie ended with a very muddy link to the road, and then a one mile walk along the main road, returning to the start at approx. 6pm.   
Ale sunk at Invergarry Hotel, fish supper at Tyndrum.   Home by 10.30pm.   Jim will provide a more detailed report.
